As seen in The Telegraph
Laura and Chris live not too far from The Muse. They have three young children and love exploring and immersing themselves in local culture. Laura has backpacked many countries, in particular across Asia with her then five-year-old, which she documented in a book, My Asian Summer. They opened The Muse in August 2021. After just six months the couple were awarded Superhost Status on Airbnb and had featured in The Telegraph. The property has since appeared in other publications such as Women's Own, Sussex Wedding Magazine,The Stratford Herald and Focus Magazine, as well as benefiting from collaborations with interior design influencers and Property expert and presenter, Lexi Carducci.
The Muse has been designed with fun and inspiration at its heart. The property’s interior has been designed to inspire. Many of the furnishings and fixtures have been hand-made using various artists, from artwork to lights to units – even books on the ‘inspirational books’ bookshelf. It is for this reason that the property was named, The Muse, meaning, "A creative space to feel inspired". Laura says that anyone can achieve anything that they want out of life, whether that is writing a book, painting and selling artwork or building and refurbishing furniture, which is demonstrated in the Muse's fixtures, fittings and designs.
